7. Do I need to do anything during the massage?

Relax and enjoy! Make yourself comfortable. Be open and receptive to your massage and leave the worries of life at the door. Most people just close their eyes and relax completely during the massage. Let your body relax and sink into the table as you listen to the quiet music in the background. Take a couple of slow, deep breaths. Breathing is your key to letting go of stress and tension in the body. You will receive greater benefits from the massage the more you breathe. The desire to sigh or take a deep breath is a sign that you are relaxing. Allow your body to be heavy. Your therapist will move your arms and legs as needed. This is your time to be taken care of. Feel free to fall asleep during the session. The biggest compliment you can give a massage therapist is to become so relaxed, you fall into a deep relaxed sleep
