Policies and Procedures

At The Pure Escape our goal is to provide all our clients with professional and therapeutic services that are tailored to our client’s individual needs.

Your treatment times are reserved exclusively for you. We value your business and ask that you respect our scheduling policies.

 

Arrival to your Appointment

Please arrive for your appointment 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. This will allow you the time to fill out the appropriate client forms. Additional time may be required if we are setting up your appointment with billing to your insurance provider. If you are late for your scheduled start time your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the original treatment time may be charged.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule all appointments. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of half the cost of the service that was booked. Clients who miss their appointment without giving any prior notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service. Future appointments will not be booked unless all fees are paid.

Late Arrival Policy

All treatment times have a specific time schedule. Late arrivals may not receive an extension of their scheduled appointment. If the schedule allows we may be able to accommodate partial or full appointment. Clients will be responsible to pay out of pocket for the period of time that was originally booked.

Insurance will only be charged for the time spent with the Therapist. We will not charge any Insurance plans for cancellations or late arrivals as that would be considered fraud. A fraudulent claim may costs the a Therapist to lose their license and their job. It may also cost the business the ability to bill any future claims with insurance companies.

 

No Show Policy

At The Pure Escape we understand that unforeseen events may occur. We will always take into consideration why one might miss a scheduled appointment. However, we ask that you please call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service. Future services will not be booked until all fees have been paid.

 

Agreement Policy

When booking an appointment, you agree to our appointment fee policies. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to book appointments. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show and we will make all attempts to contact you first before charging any fees. Your credit card will also be used as the backup payment in your Insurance billing file. Insurance plans change frequently and providers of service are not given any notice of changes in what may be reimbursed after a service has been provided.

Time is important not only to you but also to our Therapists. Please understand the importance of implementing our policies and fees. Massage Therapists are paid by the appointment and are scheduled for 4 or 5 appointment per day. A no show or cancelled appointment means they have lost 20-25% of their earnings for that day which they cannot get back. When this occurs it affects their lively hood and ability to maintain a life balance.
